STATEWIDE PUBLIC NOTICE

Major Land Transaction

Section 3.59 of the Local Government Act 1995

The Shire of Kojonup (Shire) is considering entering into agreements in relation to the lease and management of the Springhaven Frail Aged Hostel and the lease of three residential premises located in Kojonup.  The proposed transaction is a ‘major land transaction’ for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1995, and the Shire has prepared a business plan.   A copy of the business is available on the Shire’s website, and may be inspected at the Shire’s offices.

Written submissions in respect of the proposed transaction may be lodged with the Shire prior to 5.00pm, 13 September 2024.  Submissions should be marked “Lease Springhaven Frail Aged Hostel” and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Kojonup, and posted or delivered to the Shire of Kojonup, 93-95 Albany Highway, Kojonup, WA 6395 or emailed to council@kojonup.wa.gov.au.
