ROAD CREW POSITIONS
The Shire of Kojonup is recruiting for a suitable candidate to join the Works and Services team in the following positions;
- Plant Operator / Labourer (HR license minimum) - CASUAL
- Truck Driver /All Rounder (HC licence minimum) – FULL TIME PERMANENT
Time management, high work ethic and the desire to work as part of a team is required. Candidates need to have an understanding of workplace health and safety. This position will involve physical labour and candidates will need to demonstrate a reasonable level of personal fitness.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the MEU Award 2011 and the All of Staff Agreement 2011. It is anticipated that the positions will be in a range of Level 4 through to Level 4A. However, the final offer will be dependent on the successful applicant’s level of experience and qualifications.
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment, as well as possess:
- White Card
- Current HR / HC class driver’s license
- National Competency Ticket(s) – Plant Operators
- National Police Clearance
- Rights to work in Australia
