8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday excluding every Wednesday when the Shire closes at 4:00pm and closed on Public Holidays.

Where is the Shire Works Depot located? How can I contact the Depot?

The Works Depot is located on Blackwood Road. The contact number for the Works Depot is 9831 2900.

Does Kojonup have a Visitor Centre? Where is it located?

The Kodja Place Precinct (also known as Kojonup Visitor Centre) is located at 143 Albany Highway. The Kodja Place and the centre is contactable on 9831 0500. For further information, visit the 'Kojonup Visitor Centre' Facebook page here or alternatively go to the centre's website.

Where is Springhaven Lodge? How can I contact the Lodge?

How can I apply for a Loton Close Unit?

For more information regarding the Independent Living Units please look at the Independent Living Units page and contact the Shire Administration Office to put your name on the list. As one becomes available people are contacted.

What are my rubbish bin days in Kojonup?

Warren Blackwood Waste is the Shire's household waste collector. Regular green bins are collected every Friday and Recycle bins are collected every second Friday. For further information about rubbish collection, etc. visit the Shire's 'Rubbish & Recycling Services' here.

How can I get a new bin or a bin replacement?

You will need to complete this form and return it completed to the Shire Administration Office.

Where are the public toilets located in Kojonup?

Can I pay my rates online?

Can I defer my Rates?

If you receive a 50% pensioner rebate for the property you may defer paying your rates.

  • If you choose to defer your rates or Emergency Services Levy, you defer the full amount, and do not receive the pensioner/senior rebate.
  • Rubbish & Recycling  charges cannot be deferred and must be paid in full
  • Please contact us to defer your rates.

What Department of Transport Licencing services does the Shire offer?

The Shire offers licencing services for cars, boats, tractors and farm equipment, motorbikes, etc. The only exception is licencing of firearms which is done at the Post Office in Kojonup located at 104 Albany Highway.

What facilities are available for hire in Kojonup?

The Shire has several facilities available for hire of various sizes. This includes the Memorial & Lesser Halls, Sporting Complex, and RSL Hall.

The Shire also hires out equipment which includes tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery. Visit the Facilities menu on the Shire's homepage on our website for further information.

Does the Shire have a community bus?

Yes, The Shire currently has a 22 seater bus available for hire, you can find more information on the Community Bus page.

Where are the Standpipe in the Shire of Kojonup?

There are two standpipes (potable and non-potable) located on Stock Road off of Albany Highway and one potable standpipe located in Muradup on Blackwood Road and Station Road

How do I complete a Road Report to the Shire of Kojonup?

Please complete the Report It form or call the Shire Administration Building with as much detail as possible. These reports will be sent to the Works & Services Department to action.

Who do I contact if a Street Light is out?

Please contact Western Power directly through their website at here or you can contact the Shire and we will report the fault.

How do I report a Fallen Tree?

Albany Highway, Kojonup-Katanning Road and Blackwood Road are all managed by Main Roads, they provide all the maintenance to these roads.  If you want to report a fault you can either call 9892 0555 or email them at enquiries@mainroads.wa.gov.au.

All other roads within the Shire of Kojonup, please contact the Shire Depot or the Shire Administration Office.

How do I report a lost road sign or request a road sign?

If  you find that a Kojonup road sign is missing, please email council@kojonup.wa.gov.ua and we will order and install a replacement.

Who do I report an abandoned vehicle too?

Albany Highway, Kojonup-Katanning Road and Blackwood Road are all managed by Main Roads, they provide all the maintenance to these roads.  If you want to report an abandoned vehicle you can either call 9892 0555 or email them at enquiries@mainroads.wa.gov.au.
